In class today I gave a presentation on travel photography. While giving the presentation, I was pleased to have reminded myself of these tips and tricks.
We finalized our trip to the Grand Canyon today and going over the photography material really reminded me why I am going on the trip in the first place. I want to share stories of people's lives with the world through photographs. With this trip, I planned each day based on what I wanted to take pictures of.
We added horseback riding around the Rockies so I can capture early mornings at a stable in Colorado and a late night to take pictures at Arches National Park to get the stars in the photos.
I hope to meet many people while on the trip and have them be future connections in my life., not only for professional reasons but to have people that are willing to share their story with me in different places in the United States.
People in pictures are what makes pictures interesting because people are interesting. The more people you can connect with, the better. I hope to meet many people while on our trip.
